Have I mentioned I'm tall?

I was sorting through the girls' clothes yesterday, putting away the too-small and pulling out the next size up. At least, the next size up for the baby. I've run out of hand-me-downs for the preschooler.

She is now wearing clothes 2 sizes above her age! Which is a problem with pants, because they fit her in length but tend to be a little too wide. I've been searching online for extra long clothing for little ones but without much success so far.

It's not so much her height, though, as she's just off the growth chart all over. I've really got to get her in for a doctor appointment, if our insurance will cover a well-child visit at this age. I don't think she's due for another one until she goes to school.

I have to keep reminding myself of her true age, because she looks so much older that even I keep slipping and adding a year.

She keeps up like this, she's going to be a model. Or Allison Janney.

PS an hour later - I thought I'd better throw this in lest anyone get the wrong impression. I think Allison Janney is gorgeous.
