Um, is this me? Or is this?
The older I get, the harder it is to find a new hairstyle. I picked up a magazine at the store the other day, the only hairstyle/haircuts magazine they had there.
Wow. What a collection of young and beautiful women. Who don't even look like residents of the same planet as me. Which made the magazine somewhat less than useful.
I need to see how those hairstyles look on someone like me. Fortyish, on the heavy side of fluffy, looking really tired most of the time, and seriously needing to rethink my makeup. And yet, they don't want to have their hairstyles modeled by tired middle aged mommies. Who'd have thought it?
Which leaves me with a dilemma. When I see a hairstyle I like is it because I recognize the cut as one that would look good on me, or am I just wistfully wanting to look like the model?
Where's a reverse aging machine when you need one?
