Like mother, like daughter

I think my daughter is in love with Diego.

Go, Diego, Go has become the newest must-watch show in our house. In case you are an exemplary parent whose children never watch tv, or you just don't have preschoolers in your house, Diego is Dora the Explorer's cousin, who lives at an animal rescue center and spends his time saving animals. There is much flying through the trees, problem solving and last minute rescues.

There's something different about her interest in this show as opposed to others she has been obsessed with in the past. That's why I'm kind of thinking she has a crush on Diego. Although I doubt she's old enough to really grasp what she's feeling.

Of course, maybe I'm just projecting. I had a huge crush on Touche Turtle when I was little and I'm aware I might just be assuming she's reacting the way I would if I was a little girl.

But still ... Assuming she is going through her first crush, I'm having fun watching her!

But I don't think I'll mention it to her father, just yet. He's already a little touchy about his daughter and boys.
