Michael is talking to me again. Which is nice, this close to Christmas. It does tend to take the edge off the Christmas cheer when you have a member of the family spending all of his time glowering at you and slamming doors.
Sheesh, all I did was ask him to turn his radio off while he's sleeping.
I told him yesterday (after he broke the ice) that he doesn't have to see his mom if it's making him this upset. It's his choice to stay or go. He made grumbling noises indicating skepticism and disbelief and walked off.
So. If something is seriously wrong there, he has an escape hatch of sorts, at least as much as he'll let us offer. And if he honestly wants to go, then he has that option too. I don't know what else I can do right now, being as he won't let us get anywhere near the subject.
