A very clean Christmas

So, Arielle threw up in the car on the way home from the store, Christmas Eve. It went downhill from there.

I have down more cleaning this last weekend, than I have ever done on any holiday, ever. I love my Clorox wipes. It makes me feel so much better when I'm cleaning up something disgusting to know that everything is getting disinfected.

Bleach is our friend. It is.

Michael is with his mother this week. He was well when he left yesterday. I hope he stays well.

Everyone is happy with what Santa brought them, which is always nice. We don't do big Christmases. Two presents each for the kids, one each for the grown-ups, and one more from Santa for each of the girls. I think next year we'll change that a little to have the kids buying presents. We don't want to encourage thinking of Christmas as simply a time to get things. Neither of us has much in the way of Christmas traditions though, so we're feeling our way through things every year, with the kids.

Everyone is sleeping right now, but that won't last for long, so I'm off to do something for myself before I hear a crying child.

Oops, too late.
